Violent attacks are increasing in Mexico's 2nd largest city...Guadalajara.
On Sunday...masked gunmen fired 45 rounds...at patrons in 2 bars..and even launched a grenade...killing a total of 5...and wounding 17.
One victim was an American watching a football match.
Police speculate the attacks were directed at the bars' owners.
