ARGENTINA :Ex-FinMin Miceli Gets Jail For Suspect $52K In Cash; Court Dismisses Murder Charges Vs Ex-Prez De La Rua.

 

        Former FinMin Felisa Miceli will spend 4 years in prison...after she was convicted of corruption.
       She was forced to resign in 2007...after a bag with $54,000 in mixed currencies...was found in her office bathroom...by the bomb squad.
      Miceli always proclaimed her innocence...that the money was a loan from her dead brother.
      Judges decided the cash came from a 'spurious source.'
    AND : The highest penal court dismissed charges that former President De la Rua failed to protect protesters...in 2001. 
       5 were killed...and over 100 injured during a 'state of siege' protest.
