Spaniard political activist Angel Carromero,27...convicted of involuntary homicide...for the July car crash that killed famous dissident Oswaldo Paya...was sentenced to 4 years in jail.
Prosecutors sought 7 years.
A second dissident also died in the crash that injured 2 foreigners.
Paya's family wants an international investigation into the deaths.
They contend the rented car was being chased...and perhaps bumped...by secret police when it skidded into a tree near Bayamo...in eastern Cuba.
