      After a week in jail...President Lukashenko released Andrzej Poczobut...a Belarus citizen and correspondent for the Polish news outlet Gazeta Wyborcza...just ahead of Lukashenko's attendance at the EURO 2012 football final in Kyiv.
     Poland had strongly protested the arrest.

     Poczobut was arrested for insulting Lukashenko (above foto) in print and on websites.
     He was arrested last year on similar charges...and spent 3 months in jail.
