GEORGIA : Police Chief Merabishvili Named PM.

      In a surprise move...President Mikheil Saakashvili (foto) named Interior Minister Ivane Merabishvili as the new PM.
     Merabishvili has been interior chief since 2004.
     President Saakashvili must leave office in 2013...having served the maximum 2 terms.
