MEXICO : Ex-Prez de la Madrid Dead...At 77.

     Former President Miguel de la Madrid has died...at age 77.
     The PRI economist ruled from 1982-88...during Mexico's tumultuous years of debt default, a record 180% inflation... and 2 earthquakes that killed over 10,000.
     A historian claims: "The earthquake toppled Mexico City but also the PRI's empire. It killed 2 birds with one stone."
