An investigation is underway over whether the rifles were "thrown out accidentally or there was an organised channel for selling them off illegally".
AND: Several protest leaders rejected the chance to meet with PM Putin during a media awards ceremony.
"I don't think he intended to talk about (the protests). I think he wanted some PR for himself and had no intention to speak to anyone," said one.
