RUSSIA: Man Buys Firewood...And Also Gets 79 Kalashnikov Rifles; Protest Leaders Snub Putin Meeting.

                                         BBC

A villager in Udmurtia bought 64 wooden crates to burn for firewood...but found 79 usable Kalashnikov rifles and parts inside.
An investigation is underway over whether the rifles were "thrown out accidentally or there was an organised channel for selling them off illegally".

AND:   Several protest leaders rejected the chance to meet with PM Putin during a media awards ceremony.
"I don't think he intended to talk about (the protests). I think he wanted some PR for himself and had no intention to speak to anyone," said one.
