In La Paz...more than 2,000 protesters clashed with riot police...demanding that the government resume building a controversial road thru the Amazon.
The project was cancelled last year because of a massive protest by several other indigena tribes...worried about Amazon destruction.
These protesters want economic development in the Isiboro-Secure reserve.
They had marched for more than 40 days...and 240 miles.
