MFM is back in South America again...and Brasil... featuring Mayra Andrade and Trio Mocotó's ...slow and sensual version of the classic 'Berimbau'...from the 'Red Hot + Rio 2' CD.


This venerable tune was composed by guitarist Baden Powell with lyrics by Vinicius de Moraes.


The berimbau is a bowed musical instrument used to accompany capoeira dance/performances.


Andrade was born in Cuba...but now resides in Cape Verde.


Her slow jam on this song can only be called...'hypnotic'.
