GUARDIAN/ M.ELDER
Georgia has reportedly lifted its opposition to Russia's long sought after WTO membership.
Georgia is the last obstacle to Moscow's 18 year search for membership...a result of the brief but nasty 2008 South Ossetia war.
Tbilisi has agreed to monitoring of trade at its disputed borders with South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
Russia has yet to accept the proposal...and may wait until PM Putin assumes the presidency again.
