BRASIL / CUBA : Brasilia Wants To Hire 6,000 Cuban Health Workers For Remote Regions.
Brasil is negotiating to hire and send 6,000 Cuban trained health workers to remote parts of its nation...where medical services are poor or lacking.
But Brasil's medical associations oppose the proposal...because Cuban medical training has been deemed substandard.
