For the first time...voters in Croatia selected their 12 representatives to the EU.
In July...the 4.2 million Balkan nation officially joins the troubled union as its 28th member...after a 10 year quest.
As predicted...voter turnout was small.
The new EU reps will be well paid...but will only serve for 1 year.
