2 gunmen invaded a neighborhood bar on Cancun's outskirts...killing 7 and wounding 4.
Men armed with a machine gun and pistol...stormed the Mermaid bar...crowded with taxi drivers...and opened fire.
Police are investigating the murders.
In many parts of Mexico and Central America...taxi and bus drivers are killed when they refuse to pay weekly cuotas/pay-offs to thugs.
