ARGENTINA / CROATIA / ECUADOR : Ex-President Menem Loses Illegal Arms Appeal.
Former president Carlos Menem, 82...lost an appeal...and was convicted of illegally selling 6,500 tons of weapons to Croatia and Ecuador...while in office from 1989-99.
In 2011...along with 10 others...Menem was acquitted of the charges.
He faces 4-12 years in prison...and will be sentenced by another court.
Menem will be sent to jail after his senate immunity expires next year.
