A Panama City airport x-ray revealed that an arriving Guatemalan woman had consumed an estimated $31,200 in cash...that was lodged in her stomach.
Officials detained the woman, 44...because of 'suspicious behavior.'
They eventually recovered 39 packets of cash...presumably but unspecified...all $100 usd bills.
