CHILE : Mapuche Indigenas Blamed For Arson Deaths Of Elderly Couple; Mapuche Protest Turns Violent In Santiago.

      Authorities in remote Araucania have arrested a wounded Mapuche indigena...accused of killing a couple during an arson attack.
      Police say the elderly couple and the region's indigena peoples were long involved in a land dispute.
      The landowner...Werner Luchsinger, 75...shot one attacker...before he perished in the flames along with his wife, Vivian.
      The region's appointed governor Andres Molina has called the attackers 'savages.'
      President Pinera flew to the area to consult with local officials.
      A protest march in Santiago on the 5th anniversary of the murder of a young Mapuche indigena activist...Matias Catrileo...turned violent...as some 200 hooligans attacked 2 banks.
