       Almost everyone complains about Soviet architecture.

    In Warsaw...they mock the 'Palace of Culture'...as big and ugly.
    Okay...it is.

    But...apparently...towards the end...Soviet architects got adventuresome...and created some striking structures...from Yalta (top foto) to Georgia (below) and even La Habana (above).

     These are some of the 90 buildings from 14 Soviet republics...photographed by Frederic Chaubin in his book...'Cosmic Communist Constructions.'
