      The flight recorder has been recovered from the Antonov-72 plane...that crashed near Shymkent...killing all 27 aboard.
      It was carrying 20 senior Kazakh security officials and 7 crew.
      The Russian plane...built in 1990...crashed and was totally destroyed...while circling the airport...during bad weather.

     Witnesses described a loud explosion and huge fire.
     The 2-engine Antonov is considered a workhorse plane.
     The crash is another serious blow to Russia's aviation industry.
