CHILE / BOLIVIA / ARGENTINA : Lithium Boom Triples Price 3X Since 2000.

    Thanks to tablet computers like the IPAD, electric and hybrid cars...worldwide production of lithium for batteries may increase from 150,000 metric tons now...to 300,000 tons by 2020.
    After current top producer Australia...Chile, Bolivia and maybe Argentina have the most lithium brine salt lakes needed to provide the precious metal.
    Chile has about 25% of the world's reserves located in the northern Atacama desert.
