UKRAINE / EU : Kyiv Cancels Yalta Summit...After 13 Leaders Bail; Yulia Ends Hunger Strike, Accepts Medical Treatment.


      President Viktor Yanukovych cancelled a 2-day regional summit in Yalta...after 13 countries cancelled their attendance over the alleged beating of his outspoken opponent, imprisoned former PM Yulia Tymoshenko.
     The presidents of Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Estonia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and others all refused to visit the Black Sea resort after the beatings allegations broke.
     Poland's President Bronislaw Komorowski had vowed to bring up Yulia's beating and untreated illness at the summit.
     Yulia has agreed to end her hunger strike...ongoing since 20 April...and begin medical treatment with a German doctor...in Kharkov...where she has been imprisoned.
