      A total of 12 soldiers were killed...and 4 wounded...by FARC narco rebels.
      10 died during an attack in La Guajira province near Venezuela's border...and 2 elsewhere.
      President Hugo Chavez also denied claims that the rebels are being sheltered in Venezuela.
