PERU: 5,000 Protest Mining Sanctions In Puerto Maldonado.

     Some 5,000 demonstrators put up roadblocks in Puerto Maldonado...demanding repeal of a law against illegal gold mining.
     Illegal miners would face 4 to 10 years in prison.
    Protesters claim the new law requiring permits will put them out of work.
