Dominique Strauss-Kahn, 62...aka 'DSK'...was once truly 'A Master of the Universe'...as the IMF chief.

His lawyers claim he is being hounded for being his 'libertine ways.'

Of course...he still faces a NYC civil trial...brought by a hotel maid...who accuses him of raping her in May 2011.
