This 'believe it or not' news story...has legs.
Police say Peter Skyllberg, 44, survived...despite being imprisoned in his snow covered car near Umea...for 2 months...without food.
Normally...a human can only live around 4 weeks without food.
The man...originally from central Sweden...apparently lived in his car...deep in the forest...in northern Sweden.
There is a new report that local police were informed about the abandoned car...30 days earlier...but chose to ignore it...because abandoned autos were common.
Snowmobilers finally uncovered Skyllberg's car Friday...and though barely able to talk...he claimed that he had been inside it...since 19 December.
One doctor speculated that the man drank melted snow...and may have fallen into a sort of hibernation...protected by the 'igloo effect' of his snow packed auto...despite outside temps of -33C.
He may also have eaten a salve or ointment found inside the car.
