NICARAGUA DISPATCH/T.ROGERS
No English language website covers Nicaragua more thoroughly than Tim Rogers' new Dispatch.
Daniel Ortega, 66, spoke for an hour after his controversial 3rd swearing-in as president...with a rambling discourse...to a poorly attended group of world leaders.
President Hugo Chavez, of course, was there...along with Guatemala's president-elect Otto Pérez and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad...as were the presidents of El Salvador and Honduras.
But the USA didn't even bother to send a rep...nor did Costa Rica's boundary feuding President Chinchilla make an appearance.
