Here's an excellent overview...and update...on Chile's communist student leader Camila Vallejo...and her efforts to expand education reforms there.
Vallejo...aka 'Commander Camila'...and the students have so far succeeded in forcing unpopular President Pinera to replace 3 education ministers...in 6 months...by large, sometimes unusual and occasional violent demonstrations.
Now...even after a stinging defeat in a student election...Vallejo may run for national office...as her popularity grows in Santiago...and worldwide.
