A judge ordered 50 police to descend on the offices of Clarin's cable TV network...over alleged 'unfair competition'...and examine company records and forcibly question an executive.
For years...Clarin media group has been involved in an ugly dogfight with President Cristina Fernandez over media coverage.
"This is part of a systematic campaign of harassment the national government is carrying out against Clarin group companies," said a Cablevision statement.
AND: Ivan Heyn, 33 (foto)...a ranking foreign trade official and rising star in the Fernandez administration...was found hanged in his hotel room in Montevideo for a Mercosur summit.
The meeting was temporarily delayed when Fernandez was treated by doctors.
