Two days after being kidnapping...USA Major League Baseball player Wilson Ramos was rescued...alive...after a 15 minute gunfight...by security forces Friday night...in mountains close to where he was taken in Valencia.
The kidnapping of the rookie starting catcher for the Washington Nationals was a major embarrassment for Venezuela.
It used a large security force to search for Ramos.
Four young Venezuelans were arrested...and 4 others...identified as Colombians...escaped.
Two senior citizens were also arrested for harboring and feeding the captors.
