President Dmitry Medvedev must hide parts of his new profile on Russia's social equivalent to FACEBOOK...after receiving hundreds of insulting virtual 'presents.'
Medvedev prides himself on his tech savvy and recently joined social media leader...VKONAKTE.
But while all comments were blocked...he and his aides forgot to block virtual gifts and captions.
At least 1,700 'friends' sent him virtual gifts...many of them insulting.
One sent him an image of a new brain...and another gave him a revolver with just one bullet in its chamber. "I hope your conscience will tell you what to do next," said the message.
