She frankly describes her extreme loneliness and tough domestic grind raising 8 children...as her husband climbed to power.
In the 550 page book, she writes: "My initial powerlessness turned into a rebellion. This opposition grew in me until I exploded. Psychologically, I simply could not take this burden anymore".
She also admits that she and Lech now live separate lives.
