MEXICO: President Calderon's Sister Narrowly Loses Michoacan Governor's Contest.

                                         LATIMES

The once-powerful PRI party is clawing its way back...by narrowly winning the governorship of President Calderon's home state of Michoacan...and defeating his own sister 'Cocoa.'
Fausto Vallejo won for the PRI with 35.39% of the vote; PAN's 'Cocoa' Luisa Maria Calderon garnered 32.67%.
Michoacan's current controlling party's candidate Silvano Aureoles...came in third.
Widespread violence and intimidation were reported and numerous candidates quit because of fear.
Cocoa Calderon had alleged that narcos helped her opponent.
