President Viktor Yanukovych wants to cut his nation's dependence...and especially its price...for Russian gas.
What it means...is that Europe may again suffer from nat gas disruption...the 3rd in 6 years... because 80% of Europe's nat gas is still shipped thru Ukraine.
Yanukovych will discuss nat gas issues with President Dmitry Medvedev and PM Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
Russia insists that Ukraine stick to its 10-year agreement signed in 2009...but the Ukraine believes that gas contract...is “unfair and enslaving.”
