President Hugo Chavez, 57, returned to Caracas after a weeklong stay in La Habana for a second round of chemo for a still undisclosed cancer.
He was greeted by applause from cabinet officials and military officers.
"So you have to take life by the horns," said Chavez.
He added that he was starting a "new life"...and had started painting.
He also revealed his birthday gift (2 trees) to his mentor...dictator Fidel Castro...who just turned 85...or some say...is really 86.
