A judge will investigate the torture and death of Gen. Alberto Bachelet (right) who was convicted of being a traitor for supporting President Salvador Allende before the 1973 military coup.
Bachelet's daughter Michelle (above) became Chile's first female president in 2006.
He died in prison in 1974...at age 51.
Pinochet also had the general's wife and Michelle arrested in 1974...and tortured for two weeks before they fled Chile.
