Austin humor columnist Kelso has several nifty revelations about the new GOP presidential hopeful with good hair...Texas Governor Rick Perry.
Perry apparently graduated BELOW the acceptable 2.0 grade point level at Texas A/M Univ...and earned the grade of "D" in Principles of Economics ("C" is a passing grade)...and also in the works of Shakespeare.
While Perry brags about being the top job creator in the USA...Texas ranks as 26th in unemployment with 8.2%.
If you feared and loathed George W. Bush...be very afraid of this bible thumping, gun toting, crony capitalist and education funding killer...Rick Perry.
AND: Richard Parker writes about the heat that is slowly killing Texas...as deer and crops die from the worst drought on record.
The weather system responsible for dry years here...La Nina...has not been a lady...and some predict she will return again in the fall.
Meanwhile, Perry has said little about the drought...and the damage it is wreaking on farmers and ranchers.
