     The Chinese still revere and relish shark fins..for soup...and rumored medicinal reasons.
     The fins can cost up to $600 per pound.
     But...a growing worldwide backlash from conservationists as the number of sharks rapidly declines...has forced shark merchants to dry freshly cut fins...out of sight...often on rooftops.
