For naval warship fans
Apparently...the USA's Secret Service...aren't the only Americans getting in trouble with booze in foreign lands.
Commander Joseph Darlak...in command of the frigate the USS Vandergrift for only 3 months...was relieved of duty...after crew misconduct during a 3-day September stop in Vladivostok.
Details were not released except that it involved booze.
It's rare for the USA Navy to publicly dismiss a ship's top commander.
At least 3 other officers were also relieved of their frigate duties.
