One of the most memorable performances this blog's editor ever attended...was a Gilberto Gil concert...over a decade ago...at the tiny La Zona Rosa club.
It was hot, smoky, crowded...and full of crazed dancing Brasilians.
Here's a new interview with Gil...who performs tonight in UT's cavernous Bass Concert Hall.
Sadly...this editor won't be attending.
