      It was an ugly end...to a beautiful young woman.
      Brit university student Kate Zaks, 21...of East Sussex...slowly drowned in a ditch...after she was beaten with a pipe by Krakow bus driver Miroslaw Lukaszewski, 45...and tossed off a bus..on 30 July.
     Zaks was working at an art gallery for the summer.
    Lukaszewski confessed to hitting her with the pipe after an argument over stopping the bus so she could get off.
    He testified that he was 'overcome with a rage, like a white fever'.
    If found guilty...he faces life in prison.
