GUATEMALA : Prez. Colom Apologizes For 1982 Dos Erres Massacre; Violence And Fear Consume Guat City.

     President Alvaro Colom apologized to relatives of the more than 200 victims of a 1982 massacre in the village of Dos Erres.
    In August...4 ex-soldiers received life sentences for the murders.
    The soldiers suspected that the villagers supported rebels during the nation's 36-year-long civil war.
    AND:  Guatemala City residents are living with fear from rampant narco violence...and suffering from a kind of collective depression.
