A law that allows stolen vehicles to be legalized in Bolivia has been approved.
The 'ley de chutos' could affect more than 100,000 illegal cars...about 10% of all vehicles.
The law upsets Brasil...because it cannot find 53% of the cars that are stolen from there.
Many are believed to be in Bolivia and Paraguay.
La Paz expects to reap $200mn...from new owners who must pay $2,000 to legalize each vehicle.
