President Hugo Chavez declared his condition after a third round of chemo in a Caracas military hospital..."couldn't be better."
He said he gained more than a kilo...and now weighs 88.5 k/195 pds.
Also...promoting his new alliance with Chinese car company Chery, President Hugo Chavez says a joint venture will offer cheaper cars and promote socialist principles on the factory floor.
“This is the revolution advancing,” Chavez said. “These quality, good-looking and cheap cars are coming to Venezuela. Only under socialism is this possible.”
Two compact models will be made in Venezuela....with production to begin later this year.
Car prices there can be three times similar USA models...mainly due to taxes.
