CHILE: Miners Now On Indefinite Strike At Escondida Copper Mine.

    BHP Billiton is calling an indefinite strike at its Escondida copper mine... 'illegal'...as workers there demand bonuses linked to company earnings.
    Escondida is the world's largest copper mine.
    The strike began as a one day stoppage.
    It may cost BHP Billiton...3,000 tons of copper per day.
