Serbia's state-run television/RTS is apologizing to viewers for acting as the chief propaganda tool of Slobodan Milosevic in the 1990s.
Radio Television of Serbia said on its website that the station's programs were "almost constantly and heavily abused" by his regime to discredit his opponents.
The station consistently portrayed Serbs as the victims of ethnic attacks...feeding a nationalism that led to wars.
It also labelled any Serb opposition as foreign mercenaries and traitors.
