CNN/ UPDATE:
President Juan Manuel Santos yesterday visited Bello to inspect rescue efforts for the estimated 80 residents feared buried under 50,000 cubic meters of earth. He urged all residents to relocate fearing further landslides.
The landslide covered 35 homes in the La Gabriela district of Bello, north of Medellin.
Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of 47 people.
Colombia has been deluged recently by rains that have killed at least 176 people and injured 225, leaving 1.5 million people homeless nationwide.
