CROATIA/ SERBIA: Serb Prez. Tadic Apologizes For 1991 Massacre of 260.

   President Boris Tadic (pictured) is the first Serbian leader to honor the 260 Croatian victims of the 1991 Vukovar massacre.
   During his visit to the memorial, Tadic offered his "apology and regret".
   "I came here to share words of apology; to express our sympathy; to create the possibility for Serbs and Croats, Serbia and Croatia, to turn a new page in history," Tadic said.
   Serbia has taken several steps recently to smooth its way for  membership in the EU.
