MEXICO: Prison Inmates Were Freed At Night To Murder-For-Hire, Using Guard Guns.

NYTIMES/ ELISABETH MALKIN/
Officials report that jail prisoners in Torreon were let out at night to murder-for-hire jobs using guards’ weapons and vehicles. They say that prisoners carried out three massacres this year killing 35 people including last week's massacre at a birthday party where 17 died and many were wounded. Ballistics tests prove that four guns used in that shooting were the same as those assigned to jail guards.
