"On The Media" examines bond raters culpability for the Great Recession

I'm still pissed about our current "Great Recession," who caused it and... how to prevent it from happening again.

This week's "On The Media" presented a short , cogent audio discussion on the culpability of the three bond ratings services in the crisis.

The given is that the bond raters were hugely errant in their ratings of CDS bonds, the so-called toxic bonds that remain on banks' ledgers.

So, are they responsible for losses and sued for their errors...or are they protected by free speech under the First Amendment?

I think the bond raters are...way, way culpable! Sue, baby, sue!
