POLAND : 19 Copper Miners Rescued; Trapped For 8 Hours After Earthquake.
19 miners were rescued after a 5.0 earthquake collapsed a tunnel in a Silesian copper mine...on Tuesday night.
It took 8 hours to rescue the miners...located some1,000 meters/3,000 feet underground...from the Rudna copper mine in Polkowice...in Lower Silesia.
Only one miner needed minor medical attention.
