Did a FEMEN activist finally go too far?
In Kiev...topless FEMEN member Inna Shevchenko, 22...used a chainsaw to cut thru a 4-meter tall wooden cross...to protest the Pussy Riot trial in Moscow.
2 dressed assistants helped pull the crucifix down.
The hilltop cross was erected in 2005...as a memorial to victims of Stalin's 1930's reign of terror and famine that killed millions of Ukrainians.
The destruction has shocked many in Kiev.
Shevchenko was arrested and faces charges of hooliganism...with a maximum of 4 years in jail.
